The Council of Europe, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, Vilnius University Faculty of Law, and Law Offices Norcous & Partners invite you to the conference “MEDIATION IN EUROPE: present challenges and future developments”.

The initiative for such event emerged, recognizing the importance of the development of alternative

dispute resolution means, where mediation plays one of the key roles. It may help to improve the culture of dispute resolution, promote the priority of social peace and amicable settlement, and create more userfriendly and effective environment for resolution of disputes.

In the conference, 24 highly regarded guest speakers from over 15 countries will present and discuss experience in the sphere of mediation from various regions of Europe – Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as overlook the latest initiatives of the European Commission in the sphere of mediation.
