Women’s Information Center implemented the project “Let’s Do Business!” (Incentive to women’s business activities in the districts of Klaipeda, Vilnius and Utena in order to ensure equal opportunities in business and employment) according to Instrument 2.3 “Prevention of Social Isolation and Social Integration” of GPD (General Programming Document). This project was financed partially by the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania. The project was implemented during the period from 01.01.2007 to 31.05.2008. For the project “Let’s Do Business!”, UAB „Ekspozona“ organized training courses „Be An Enterprising Woman!“ and „Achieve Stars!“ in districts of Klaipeda,Vilnius and Utena.

The training „Be An Enterprising Woman!“ was organized for women who start or would like to start their own business, and „Achieve Stars!“ for women who have some experience in business and want to ger higher positions. At first, training courses were arranged in districts of Silute, Utena, Sirvintos, Trakai, Palanga, Klaipeda and Vilnius, and novice businesswomen showed intense interest in them. Therefore, we decided to organize an additional training „Be An Enterprising Woman!“ in Alytus and Siauliai.
